This university has really done a great job of reimaging itself. From being known as one of the top party schools in the US to now being a leader in the health science field, sports, and innovative technology. I definately recommend a visit just to experience the culture and pride that you will feel when speaking with the locals and students. Go Pirates!
Community College would be better.
continued.
They bill you a month before school starts, so you better hope you have your money streight. And if you make any changes, sometimes they don't even have it right and change it significantly 2 days before it's due.
Wonderful University. Very Kind Instructor, safe, Love purple!! Hello Nicole.
As an out-of-state student, I was let down. Probably because I had the most generic and incompetent student advisor by the name of Jason Denius. Instead of giving me straight answers he kept talking in theories which wasted time and I lost interest. The school could use an upgraded curriculum until then it's not offering its student the best.
I attended this university for a degree in Business administration. My experience there was very positive. I thought the administration staff were helpful, the professors I had were knowledgeable and eager to help students who asked for it. My advisor was pretty accessible and helpful whenever I needed to talk or ask for guidance. The only thing I thought could use some improvement is the lack of diversity among the professors. During my entire time there as a student I only had 2 African American teachers. That needs to be addressed.
Best kept secret in the southeast. Great education. Great programs. Support systems for all students. It's the only university in NC with a Medical School, Dental School, and Engineering School. The city of Greenville is all about ECU and it's a great college town. I went there and both my kids are current students there. Check out the Honors College and the scholarship opportunities, too!
Best university ever! Tons of school pride. Great teachers who care! Great programs so there is something for everyone. You feel like you belong and the campus is so pretty!
I wish I could give this school TEN stars. Not only is it a beautiful campus, all of the programs are accredited and the student population is great. There is a lot of spirit and the downtown (uptown) area is very student friendly, always something to do on or off campus. I like the positive attitude that would not be found in the NorthEast.
Honestly, the school doesn't much care for their students. With buildings that have AC leaking and making students ill they didn't do anything except say you are on a list, we will get to it- sorry you are sleeping in a study room, and cockroaches and so forth in that building as well- they have been here since the day we moved in. The students are nice to each other and have clubs that are great- but when the school doesn't care you are living in a building that is nasty and wasn't ever cleaned before you moved in. A few weeks ago, a girl woke up with a roach on her face. It's disgusting. Take care of your students ECU, we don't pay thousands of dollars to have bugs and mold in our rooms, and a single properly working shower for an entire floor.
